Booking process
1.Fill out the form
Click the 'book here' button above and fill out the contact form. This will send an email directly to my inbox and you'll receive a response within 3 working days. You can start thinking about booking your newborn photography shoot in as early as you like.
2.Secure your booking
In your email, you will receive details about the session flow and a £50 non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
I totally understand that due dates can fluctuate either side. That's why we will stay in communication up until your due date and in the rare instance a session needs to be rescheduled, I will work with you for a suitable alternative.
3. Consultation
Once your session is booked in, you'll receive an online consultation form to discuss session expectations, and any requested colour themes.
4.During & Post sessions
The session itself will be relaxed and gentle, leaving plenty of time for cuddles, comfort and feeding. I am completely baby led and safety is my number one priority. Making sure that you capture beautiful, timeless images, without compromising the comfort of your beautiful baby.
Following your newborn session, you will receive your digital online viewing gallery within 2 weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay for my newborn shoot when booking?
No, full payment is not required upon booking. I require a £20 deposit to secure the date in my diary, then the remaining balance is due the day before your session.
What should we wear for our session?
Baby wise, I encourage baby to be dressed in something that is easy for them to get in and out of. Like a baby grow for example. You're welcome to bring specific outfits if they hold sentimental value that you would like your little one to be photographed in - but it isn't essential. Baby will spend a large proportion of their session either naked (if wanted), in their nappy, or wrapped in blankets.
Parent wise, for newborn sessions, the studio is kept at a higher temperature than the average house holds to keep baby comfortable whilst the session takes place.
For this reason, I suggest that parents dress in light layers, so you're able to remove layers if you get a little warm.
How long does it take to get our photos?
You will receive a sneak peak of your gallery containing 2 or 3 images within 48 hours of your session. And your full online gallery will be delivered to you within 7-10 days.
How long are newborn sessions?
Session timings can vary as every baby is different. A typical newborn session will last around 2.5 hours. However, session timings are flexible to work around your little one. I always allocate up to 4 hours for each session, in case it takes us that little bit longer to settle your baby.
